“Keep on doing you” is something I always say to encourage myself and other purpose-filled people. To such people, to you who are trying to follow your bliss and live your divine life purpose in the face of extreme difficulties and exhausting challenges, I say: BE ENCOURAGED, MAINTAIN PERSISTENCE, and KNOW that in due season you will reap the benefits of your good and righteous work! So, NEVER GIVE UP!!
Moreover, hold fast to the fact that your good and righteous work will be manifested for all to see and for all to benefit from in the fullness of God’s divine timing. NEVER Give Up on you! NEVER Give Up on your dreams! NEVER Give Up on God! MAINTAIN PERSISTENCE!
Now, to conclude this series by continuing to encourage you to MAINTAIN PERSISTENCE and NEVER Give Up I will retype in its entirety the post from a popular social network that gave birth to this writing. It reads:
“Work = Force x Distance. If you’re still in the same place are you really working? C’mon now. Robert Kiyosaki in his book ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ calls it the rat race. Wherein you’re constantly running in place like a rat on a wheel but not going anywhere. Just another look at this….what do you think?”
My thoughts about all of the above have already been summed up in 5 words—Never Give Up and MAINTAIN PERSISTENCE. My detailed thoughts can read in Parts I and II because in this post I am specifically sharing my original thoughts and slightly revised remarks to a comment that was made about the above quote that appears below.
The individual wrote: “That’s called Busyness! Confusing Activity with Productivity!”
Now, on the surface this reply sounds as great as the question and statement that sparked it. What follows are my thoughts about this person’s thoughts concerning those who seem to be “constantly running in place like a rat on a wheel but not going anywhere.” The comment I posted reads like so:
“I like the point about busyness/activity. Busyness/activity is better than being idle/inert, specifically where attempting to follow one’s bliss is concerned or attaining a goal [and] living [your] dreams … [Busyness/activity] can become productivity depending on the quality of one’s vision, planning, and work; the depth and quality of one’s faith, patience, endurance/perseverance; how long each of the foregoing lasts … and support from others would be nice as well. So busyness/activity, for some people, can eventually take them out of the rat race, [off] of the wheel, and into a life of productivity/accomplishments/success if they keep busy and active long enough …”
My point was and is about PERSISTENCE, PERSISTENCE, PERSISTENCE or NEVER giving up because we should Never Give Up!
To you mission-minded folk, you visionaries, again I say: BE ENCOURAGED in knowing that it is diligence, PERSISTENCE, a dogged determination and self-efficacy or “busyness and activity” that, in time, leads to the type of “productivity” that results in “force x distance” or “work.” So, NEVER Give Up! NEVER Give Up!
So you may be in the “rat race” right now. SO WHAT!!! SO!! WHAT!! You have to start somewhere! Truth is it’s in the “rat race” where many and most people get/got their humble start in life unless they were born into wealth and privilege. MAINTAIN PERSISTENCE! NEVER Give Up!
If you MAINTAIN PERSISTENCE and NEVER Give Up eventually you will end your spinning on the rat wheel or your running in the “rat race” because, in the words of Calvin Coolidge:
“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
