This post is specifically dedicated to those who have a passion in life.  More specifically, this writing is for those who are struggling to find ways to earn a comfortable living pursuing your life’s passion.  So, part of this message of encouragement is simply this: NEVER GIVE UP ON PURSUING YOUR PASSION IN LIFE!

I’ve already written an Encouragement Tidbit series (on this blog) titled NEVER Give Up.  I hope you read it (again).  I hope it (re)encourages you to pursue or continue pursuing your passion in life no matter the odds.

As for this message, consider it a brief, complimentary continuation of the abovementioned series with the same exact objective and goal.  That is, to encourage you to go after your passion in life with all your heart, body, soul, mind, and resources until you have no more life left in you.  This you must do no matter how difficult it may be if you are to ever experience real fulfillment, true happiness, and long-lasting success.

Now, what inspired me to write these few words was a post I read on the blog of a successful editor, freelance writer, and online marketer.  The post was supposedly a reply to a letter sent by a friend.  The friend expressed that her passion in life was writing.  However, she’d been unable, after repeated efforts, to make a living as a writer.  (According to the “letter” she was specifically interested in writing fiction and self-help books.)

Here is how the advice she was offered about pursing her passion in life began:  “If writing is your passion, here’s how to make money doing it.  1. Get Real: As in, you’re not going to be able to write about what you want …”

In my opinion the person offering this so-called advice needs to “get real.”  The reply to this alleged letter seemed to be strictly about marketing the site’s e-books and e-courses on SEO writing.  Every other paragraph was actually an advertisement.  There were absolutely no statements encouraging the person to pursue their passion in life writing fiction and/or self-help books.  Hopefully that person, if they really exist, will one day find this post and be encouraged.

Suffice to say, I completely and totally disagree with the above piece of advice ESPECIALLY since my passion in life is writing and I am right at this very moment struggling to make a living WRITING WHAT I WANT TO WRITE ABOUT.  But I am not only struggling to do it my way.  I am determined to do it my way!  Doing it my way is what makes this my passion in life versus just another joyless way to make money in life (like, for example, writing SEO articles for companies or writing for anyone who places restrictions on what I write and how I write, thus leaving me with no sense of fulfillment.)

So the point is regardless of your passion in life—whether it’s writing, singing, painting, decorating, WHATEVER—you ARE ABLE to make a comfortable living doing it the way you want to do it!!!!!  Will it be easy?  I’m not saying that.  I can’t say that because it certainly hasn’t been easy for me.

Nonetheless, I won’t give up pursuing my passion in life in the way that brings me, what else, PASSION!  I can’t give up because my passion in life is not just writing.  My passion in life is writing from the heart and hopefully in a way that helps others.  I believe the money will eventually come, but I don’t want the money if I can’t have the passion!  Do you?

Thus, the other part of this message of encouragement is to NEVER give up pursuing your passion in life REGARDLESS OF WHAT PEOPLE SAY YOU ARE ABLE TO MAKE A LIVING AT DOING! Why not give up?  BECAUSE YOU ARE ABLE TO MAKE A LIVING DOING WHATEVER YOU THINK, BELIEVE, AND WILL.  THAT’S WHY!!  SO PURSUE YOUR PASSION IN LIFE YOUR WAY AND REGARDLESS OF WHAT PEOPLE SAY!!!!!
